Climate in Dubai

Dubai is situated between 22 and 26 degrees north, thus Dubai enjoys an arid subtropical climate, with blue skies and sunshine all year round. The climate in Dubai has the hottest months falling between June and September, when temperatures can rise to 45°C and more during the day and humidity levels are very high. Even the sea temperature touches on 40°C during the summer months, and swimming pools at hotels are usually cooled to be refreshing. Dubai climate is characterized by temperatures which are only slightly more moderate then the rest of the year, the coolest time being between December and March. There is very little rainfall in Dubai, but when showers do fall it is mainly in the cooler months.

The typical Dubai climate is sunny throughout the year. It is hot and humid for the major part of the year. In Dubai one will hardly see any rainfall taking place with the exception of a few scarce and irregular showers especially during the winter months. The winters are considerably mild. Climate in Dubai makes way for lightweight summer clothing, which is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Compared with certain parts of the Middle East, Dubai has a very relaxed dress code.
